5200 Series Silicone sealants for buildings

The products in the ThreeBond 5200 series are silicone sealants that have excellent adhesion, durability, and weather resistance. They are used in the construction of public facilities such as bridges or buildings. They are stable when exposed to sunlight, ozone, water, or changing temperature, and they remain elastic for a long time with no change in colour or degradation in quality. Provided in a variety of colours, they assist in the sophisticated finish of buildings and other facilities.

5211 - silicone sealant for buildings

For more than 30 years, a principal goal of ThreeBond has been to prevent loss of energy, prevent leaks of oil, gas, water, electricity, and plant power, and making efficient use of all the energy resources consumed. For such advanced building methods as the curtain wall method and the construction of skyscrapers, sealants become increasingly important. By making a building waterproof and dustproof, they affect both comfort and durability, and also contribute to the efficiency of air conditioning. Products resulting from the application of ThreeBond's 30 years of experiences with sealants, such as ThreeBond 5211, make up an excellent group of sealants for buildings.

  • Excellent adhesion.
  • Excellent weather resistance, durability, and consistency in performance.
  • Excellent tracking capability for joint movement.
  • High resistance to heat and cold.
  • Easy handling.
  • Beautiful appearance and econimical: 9 colors available.
  • For joints of mortar, concrete, block, precast concrete, ALC, PC, and slate
  • For joints of expanded concrete, box culverts, U-grooves, and L-grooves

ThreeBond 5232 - silicone sealant for civil works

In the construction of irrigation canals, drainage canals, L-type canals, box-culverts, or bench flumes, resin-based sealants for joints are becoming increasingly important. They are needed to prevent any mixing with alien water, to save water by preventing leaks, and to absorb stress resulting from the uneven settling of the underlying soil or from the expansion and contraction of concrete with changes in temperature.
To meet these needs, ThreeBond has developed improved versions of the products conventionally used. One of them is a silicone-based, mid-modulus sealant for buildings and other structures, ThreeBond 5232.

  • Especially excellent adhesive strength for concrete.
  • Performance remains consistent for a long time.
  • Has excellent curing properties, especially at low temperature. Thus it overcomes the chief defect of conventional low-modulus licone sealants.
  • Has well balanced adhesive strength and elasticity, and thus offers excellent ability to track the expansion and contraction of concrete joints that result from changes in temperature.
  • For concrete joints used in irrigation canals, drainage canals, L-type canals, box culverts, bench flumes, and for flume pipe and precast concrete and ALC joints.
