3732 –heat resistant, inorganic adhesive

Traditionally heat-resistant inorganic adhesives, silicate-based or phosphoric-based, have been used for assemblies that will reach temperatures of over 400°C, but offer poor water resistance, dielectric strength and workability. ThreeBond 3732 is a brand-new heat-resistant inorganic adhesive, in which the binder is alkoxide whose properties negate the previous poor performance characteristics.

Features:

  • Excellent workability
  • Not affected by acids or alkalis
  • Excellent water resistance
  • Excellent dielectric strength
  • Excellent airtight properties
  • Good resistance to temperatures from 1 to 400°C
  • Incombustible after curing, because it is 100% inorganic

Uses:

  • Filling and fixing of ceramics, glasses, and metals
  • Filling, bonding, and coating of sensors and elements
  • Sealing of sheath heaters
  • Fixing of electrical and electronic parts in areas subject to high temperature
  • Filling and fixing spark plugs during assembly
  • Filling joints that will be subjected to high temperature
  • Adding to mold materials to increase heat resistance
  • Metal antioxidant coating
  • Bonding-proof coating for carbons and sludges

Bonding in areas where there is need for heat resistance, anti-organic solvent property, weather resistance, or abrasion resistance. .
