Traditionally heat-resistant inorganic adhesives, silicate-based or phosphoric-based, have been used for assemblies that will reach temperatures of over 400°C, but offer poor water resistance, dielectric strength and workability. ThreeBond 3732 is a brand-new heat-resistant inorganic adhesive, in which the binder is alkoxide whose properties negate the previous poor performance characteristics.
Features:
- Excellent workability
- Not affected by acids or alkalis
- Excellent water resistance
- Excellent dielectric strength
- Excellent airtight properties
- Good resistance to temperatures from 1 to 400°C
- Incombustible after curing, because it is 100% inorganic
Uses:
- Filling and fixing of ceramics, glasses, and metals
- Filling, bonding, and coating of sensors and elements
- Sealing of sheath heaters
- Fixing of electrical and electronic parts in areas subject to high temperature
- Filling and fixing spark plugs during assembly
- Filling joints that will be subjected to high temperature
- Adding to mold materials to increase heat resistance
- Metal antioxidant coating
- Bonding-proof coating for carbons and sludges
Bonding in areas where there is need for heat resistance, anti-organic solvent property, weather resistance, or abrasion resistance. .
